Biden said the 2nd Amendment has always limited the type of arms law abiding American citizens are allowed to own; that you couldn’t buy a cannon, for example.
Both the text of the 2nd Amendment, and American history prove him wrong.
“” A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. “”
When America was founded, private American citizens owned every arm that existed, including cannons and warships.
Biden also said that to take on the government of the USA you would need F-15’s (a relatively modern fighter / interceptor / bomber aircraft) and nuclear weapons.
To the chagrin of his Leftist komrades, he just eviscerated the claim there was an insurrection on the 6th of January, 2021.
There were no firearms charges levied against any of the people who rioted. In fact, the only firearm discharged was used by a cop to murder an unarmed citizen, Ashli Babbitt.
Biden, in his dotage, neglected to mention Afghans made the invasion of Afghanistan by the USSR a living hell for the invaders. The Afghans had no modern aircraft or nukes.
He seems to have forgotten, America’s forefathers fought off the greatest military in the history of the world and won their independence.
But, the truly horrific part of what Biden said was the unspoken part.
He told you, the American people:
“You have no recourse. You cannot resist. You cannot stop us from doing whatever we want to you, whenever we want to do it.”
He told you his power is absolute and unassailable.
The question is:
What will you do to disabuse him, and other Leftists, of that notion?
